The Johari Apprenticeship Project< delivers an 18 month curriculum in tailoring, material sourcing and jewellery-making techniques. The skills, knowledge and confidence gained by the students helps them build a more secure future for themselves and their families. The Artisans at Johari Designs produce a wonderful range of hand-crafted and ethically made clothing, jewellery and accessories. 100% of all profits are fed back into the Miale Social Development Projects. This helps to support the projects and over time these projects will become fully funded from Johari profits and so self sustaining within the community.
